Welcome to 4th Grade!

 

My name is Cindi Blicharz and I am excited for another amazing year! I like to think of my classroom each year as a close community of learners who not only come each day to learn, but to have fun, gain empathy for each other, stretch their imaginations, feel safe to take risks, and be who they are.

As a parent myself I always think how important it is to see the "whole child" not just the learner,  the good speller, or the student who hates math. It is my goal each year to get to know each and every student. I want to know their likes and dislikes. I want to know what they love about school or maybe why school is not their favorite.  When students come into my classroom I want them to see how much I care about them and how much I believe in them. School isn't just about reading, writing and math. It is about believing in ourselves and knowing we can do anything and be anything we want to be. I am just a vessel to help get your child from one exciting journey to another . My hope is that our journey together helps your child learn new and exciting things while having fun, and being as successful as possible.
